Second annual Gruber Cosmology Conference at Yale celebrates prize recipients

The Gruber Foundation and the Yale Departments of Astronomy and Physics will host some of the world’s leading cosmologists at a one-day conference Oct. 2.

The conference, titled “Towards a Standard Model of Cosmology” is in celebration of the 2015 Gruber Cosmology Prize, awarded on August 3 to John E. Carlstrom, University of Chicago; Jeremiah P. Ostriker, Princeton University; and Lyman A. Page Jr., Princeton University.

The conference runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in Rm. 2410 of at the School of Management, 165 Whitney Ave. There are no fees to attend, but registration is required. A list of speakers and registration forms can be found online.  – By Bill Hathaway
