Event description:
For the talk, I plan to discuss my career path after graduating from Yale with a degree in astronomy - as a physics and astronomy teacher, an intellectual property lawyer, and ultimately back to astronomy as a lawyer supporting the astronomy and space philanthropic work of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt and his wife Wendy. I will also give a brief overview of the legal framework governing outer space and will introduce the new Schmidt Observatory System.
