Astronomy Department co-hosts Gruber Prize conference

The Gruber Foundation and the Yale Departments of Astronomy and Physics will host some of the world’s leading cosmologists at a one-day conference Oct. 2.

The conference, titled Cosmology on Scales Small and Large, is being held in conjunction with the award of the 2014 Gruber Cosmology Prize to Jaan Einasto, Kenneth Freeman, R. Brent Tully, and Sidney van den Bergh.

The conference runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m in Rm. 4410 of at the School of Management, Evans Hall, 165 Whitney Ave. There are no fees to attend, but registration is required. A list of speakers and registration forms can be found online.
