Astrophysics undergraduate wins Jefferson Award for public service

Yale astrophysics undergradauate Sophia Sánchez-Maes ’19 has been awarded the Jefferson Award for Outstanding National or Global Service by a Young American 25 or Under for her her work “using science to solve problems in the world around her”.
