Probing the Universe with Dark Energy Survey
Event description:
I will outline the recent developments in mapping out the expansion rate of the universe and the growth of density fluctuations in order to better understand dark energy and, eventually, identify the physics responsible for the universe’s accelerated expansion. Then I will present a holistic overview of the recent Year-3 results from Dark Energy Survey, currently the largest experiment mapping the large-scale structure in order to probe dark matter and dark energy.
