Bio:

Dhruba is a final year graduate student working with Frank van den Bosch and Pieter van Dokkum.  His current research involves studying the dynamics of nuclear objects (e.g., star clusters, supermassive black holes) and dwarf galaxies in fuzzy dark matter halos and using them to constrain the fuzzy dark matter particle mass. He has also worked on ultra-diffuse galaxies, Sunyaev-Zeldovich Effect from quasar host halos, and cosmic dark ages in the past. He hails from Kolkata, India and has broad interests in N-body dynamics, galaxy formation, and cosmology.
